Veneer Line

A.I.M. Controls provided drives to upgrade the Dodson facility in 2002. The line was prone to drive failures before we became involved with Willamette. They were losing their 300 H.P. D.C. motor two to three times a year from flashing. We were able to get their lines running by properly calibrating their drives and teaching proper preventative maintenance procedures to the maintenance crew. The down time went to almost zero after we stepped in! When it was time to upgrade the lathe and controls systems Willamette called on us to work with their engineering group. We installed a new 500HP Mentor II drive then retrofitted the tipple and tray drives to suit the application. The line has been running great since that time!
